Oda Foundation Community Support
livelihood, government collaboration, and agriculture
Our work is dependent on collaboration with local leaders and governments, working directly on challenges from data collection, to coordinated emergency responses, to women’s equality.
"Giving women education and economic freedom - this can change everything. And it is hard to change things here - that is why the work is so important."
Raj Kumari Dura
Enabling Local Women to Be Vocal Leaders
The Odanaku Women’s Cooperative is officially registered with the Nepali government. These women are working together towards economic independence. Learn more on our blog.
Critical Infrastructure
Multiple partners rely on us to navigate urgent requests and needs. This has included partnering with SunFarmer to provide solar power to government offices; donating medicines for emergency medical camps; work with Prosthetics Without Borders; conducting women’s health education and supply relief with Days for Girls; and much more. Learn more about partners on our Vision page.
Oda Foundation + Agriculture
Kalikot suffers from lack of arable land and food insecurity, increasingly related to climate change. We are creating trainings on effective local methods to increase yields, using Oda Foundation land as a training campus.
